This position oversees the strategic management and daily operations of the Corporate Department, which encompasses three key units: Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, and Procurement. To provide leadership and direction to these units, ensuring their efficient and effective functioning, while aligning their activities with the overall organizational strategy and goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and goals for the Corporate Department, ensuring alignment with the overall company objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals across the Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, and Procurement Units, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee critical functions within each unit, including:
• Human Resources: Recruitment, compensation & benefits, training & development, and employee relations.
• Legal & Compliance: Managing legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and mitigating risk.
• Procurement: Sourcing and negotiating contracts with vendors, managing procurement processes, and controlling costs. - Develop and implement policies and procedures that uphold the company's mission, values, and legal requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to other departments on human resources, legal, and procurement matters.
- Manage budget and resources effectively, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations within the department.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, legal counsel, vendors, and government agencies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in human resources, law, and procurement.
Education, Professional Qualification, & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Law, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in a corporate leadership role, preferably with exposure to the functions mentioned above.
- Relevant professional certifications in HR, legal, or procurement are highly desirable.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a legal or compliance role is an advantage.
